As a small non-profit organization, Bearnstow relies heavily on contributions from individual donors to help us keep our programs affordable, and to preserve our historic facilities and fragile grounds.

Bearnstow is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation; all contributions are tax de­ductible. You may donate online by credit card: Enter the amount of your donation (e.g., 100.00 with decimal places but without the $ sign) in the field below and click the Donate button. This will take you to Bearnstow’s secure pay­ment page to enter your credit card informaton. If you wish, under “Addi­tional Information” you may indicate any of the many areas listed below you would like to support.



Below is a list of some of Bearnstow's prioritized areas of need:
  • Donate in Reg’s (Ruth Grauert’s) memory
    • Any amount

  • Updated boating and waterfront safety equipment (floatation devices, paddles, storage)
    • Estimated funds needed: $750

  • Media and Electronics — Help us create an up-to-date media center (monitor, digital mini-projector, digital conversion device, hard drives, video camera, portable sound system) in the camp library for supporting and cataloging camp performances, and where existing video, sound and photographic images can be viewed and properly stored.
    • Estimated funds needed: $2500

  • Shower Replacement — We need to replace two of our oldest showers in cabins #8 and #10.
    • Funds needed: $600 ea., totaling $1200

  • Mattresses and bedding — We had an incredibly successful campaign last year that allowed us to replace 2/3 of our mattress inventory. We still need to replace 7 mattresses, and updating our bedding is now the new priority to help ensure a comfortable slumber for our guests.
    • Funds needed for mattresses: $200 for each of 7 mattresses, totaling $1400
    • Bedding (pillows, linens): $1500

  • Sponsor a Young Artist Resident
    • Funds needed: $500 for each of six sponsorships, totaling $3000

  • Scholarship Fund for workshop participants-in-need
    • Funds needed: $700 pays for one participant to attend one of our full-week workshops
    • Funds needed: $275 pays for one child to attend both weeks of Day Camp
