Finding Motifs as Your Body Speaks
I believe that if you allow it, dance generates itself and teaches the course it will take within the body. When we pay attention to our movements and their causes, we can find minimal movement units that contain for each one of us sense, expression and communication. In each class I work with improvisation, repetition and guidance, while calling upon intuition and the body’s intelligence. I propose small actions to help discover minimum movement units, which we develop in studies and short pieces, which in turn will dictate the self-expression through movement.
